Community Housing

Prioritizing Community Needs

Blending contemporary design with functional living, this community housing project is a thoughtfully designed mix of two- and three-story residences that foster a sense of connection and belonging. A striking squillion roof defines the architectural form, while angled shrouds reject the western sun and focuses lighting to the northern side, which also creates an introduction to depth and visual interest. At ground level, feature brickwork anchors the building in warmth and texture, creating a connection to the adjacent buildings in the streetscape. Lightweight materials are accentuated through the upper floors, as well as provides a connection between both buildings via a linkway. The design prioritizes light, ventilation, and privacy, offering residents high-quality, sustainable living in a modern, well-integrated community setting.
