Aspire Architecture, a story forty years in the making, unites the skills and experience of two award winning design practices with a focus on innovation, inspiration and quality, from first home designs to a large scale commercial builds.

Jacan Design Group is an award winning, regionally based practice with a reputation for client-reflected design. Across the wider Mildura region, Jacan has delivered thousands of residential developments, from small extensions through to luxury, multilevel residential and commercial buildings. Priding themselves on delivering quality builds that are as individual as their clients, Jacan has received awards from the HIA, MBA and have also been recognized in many local building and design awards. Principal, Larry Cavallaro, founded Jacan in 1991 and the practice has been at the forefront of cutting edge regional design ever since.

Nairn Architecture, under founder, Andrew Nairn, has a proven history for delivering dynamic designs that are both functional and flexible. For over twenty years, Nairn Architecture has established a reputation for excellence in the detail, across a range of design demands, from large scale commercial and government master plans and project management to bespoke family homes. Nairn Architecture has a wealth of local knowledge and has an enviable record for providing design solutions for even the most complex of design specifications.

Joining both practices in 2016, broadens the scope of architectural design delivered, not only in regional northwest Victoria but across the country, driven by an understanding that design should be influenced by life, not the other way round.

Aspire Architecture was inspired by two major design firms within the Sunraysia region, located in North West Victoria.

Being located within our region for 40 years has given us a great insight into the current and future needs of social and economical environment. Dealing with municipal authorities and their representatives at a personal level, helps understand the needs and direction. We work closely with all local planning consultants and municipal authorities to ensure that our clients goals and the design intent remain in tact.  

The Construction documentation consists of working drawing plans and specifications in order for the project to enter a contractual arrangement with the Builder. 

Aspire Architecture pride ourselves on substantial documentation to ensure that the building procoss is clear and relevant, ensuring minimal variations to the contract. 

Our drawings provide all the information, both graphic and written, about the project. Specifications and contract documents can also be provided to provide a complete package for the client, 

Through this engagement we liaise with associated sub-consultants such as Engineers, Energy Raters, Land and Building Surveyors. This ensures that all the regulatory requirements are adhered to and that all facets of the project are designed to perform efficiently and economically.

Architectural contract administration is a crucial phase in the construction process, ensuring that a project is executed according to the design intent, specifications, and contractual obligations. This service involves overseeing and managing the construction contract between the owner and contractor, acting as a liaison to address questions, resolve disputes, and monitor progress.

Key responsibilities include reviewing contractor requests for information, conducting site visits to observe work quality, verifying compliance with construction documents, managing variations, and certifying payments to the contractor. By maintaining oversight and facilitating clear communication, contract administration helps minimize delays, control costs, and ensure a smooth transition from design to completion.

This service is essential for protecting the owner's interests, maintaining project quality, and ensuring the successful delivery of the architectural vision.
